Methods of stock accounting value assessment
Stock can be valued as a sum of values of all deliveries. Stock can also be valued according to any selected price list. You can define the method of delivering goods: FIFO, LIFO, according to expiry date, serial number. You can define the method adjusted to individual needs. You can control a selected method and deliver goods from selected deliveries.
Stock-taking
Stock-taking function allows you to control the excess and shortage of goods in particular stock premises. Automatic comparing of real list with stock content list generates a list of excess and shortages. Based on such reports the programme can make automatic content corrections. Stock-taking process is fully controlled.
Warehouse structure
You can register any number of stocks. The location of particular goods consignments is defined by location base in detail. Locating goods in stock divides the stock into any number of storage areas. Goods delivery can be placed in a given location or can be divided into several locations. It is possible to move goods consignments from one location to the other, assigning location to the existing deliveries and to print labels with the information concerning location and serial number automatically.
Additional information/ goods delivery parameters
When introducing a
consignment of given goods to the stock you can complete the information
about this consignment with a set of additional parameters
characteristic for those goods (or group of goods). It can be for
example car body number, size, colour, class and other information
characteristic for those goods. Therefore we can distinguish particular
consignments of goods without registering new goods.
Serial numbers
PolkaSQL allows to assign a unique serial number to each item of goods. You can assign a group of serial numbers with a selected pattern to a group of goods. Everywhere in the programme you can have access to the history of each item and its current location. You can decide which item delivered from the stock you want to sell with an invoice or which one you accept as returned by a customer
Label printing operation
Document print out can be completed by the print out of additional labels (directed to specialized printer). For every item of goods from the document one label is printed. You can place any parameters of goods or delivery on the label: name, symbol, serial number, bar code, information about location in stock, expiry date, price, measurement unit, etc.
Automatic system of counters
You can define three measurement units for each good: purchase unit, internal unit and sale unit. It allows to purchase products in pallets, store them in boxes in stock and sell them in bottles. When you are creating a document or report of stock content there is a possibility to switch between the units.
